Deutscher Spiele Preis

The German Game Award is the GAMER's own award. You can vote for it by filling out the form at www.deutscher-spiele-preis.de before 31. July (Explanation).

It began as "The Golden Pawn" (Goldene Pöppel) in 1979, when Knut-Michael Wolf created a readers poll in his fanzine Die Pöppel-Revue, and it continued under its current title when magazine was bought by the publisher Merz Verlag in 1990.
